What’s Up?
Apparently I missed a week. I’m sorry, but I live in a plague pit so you have to make allowances.
No, seriously. Northern Ireland is like…the WORST for the Rona in the UK. We’re just filthy with it. My friends in England were all ‘It’s not THAT bad, we’re in the….Holy Shit! When did that happen?’.
There are, like, 1000 new cases a day. It was absolutely avoidable, since we’re an island who had it under fairly good control, and then we went ‘nah, let’s just catch it and see’. Well, other people did. I am still being very careful on the grounds I don’t wanna get it and have one of my lungs fly out of my mouth and crawl away.
But…enough pandemic talk. I just wanted to rant about the fact that I live in a petri dish instead of an island now.
Blog Tour starts soon!
Pupdate
Jax is doing well! We’ve been hanging out on the beach out-of-season, since it’s empty and I can work on his training. He’s got most of them down, he just gets distracted when he gets excited.
Recommendation of the Week
OK, ok. So totally self-interested here :D. But Bad, Dad, and Dangerous is out in the world now! Go check it out. All us authors had a great time writing the stories, so I hope you guys have fun reading them!
When the kids are away, the monsters will play.
School’s out for summer, and these dads are ready to ship their kids off to camp. Not just because their kids aWhen re monsters—whose aren’t?—but because they’re ready for some alone time to let their hair down and their fangs out. You see, not only are the kids monsters—their dads are too.
Even the most dangerous of creatures has a soft spot. These bad, dangerous dads love their kids to death, but they need romance.
Every year, for a few short weeks, these hot men with a little extra in their blood get to be who they truly are. And this year, life has a surprise for them. Whether they be mage, shifter, vampire, or changeling, these heartbreakingly handsome dads might be looking to tear up the town… but they’ll end up falling in love. All it takes is the right man to bring them to their knees.
Must Read of the Week
I am not even pretending that I’m doing a serious, thinky post about articles I have read this week! It’s been a bit rubbish, my friends probably aren’t coming over at Christmas, I don’t know if Paris is a go, and….really bad jokes made me smile. So there.
I love the Oyster, it has such rage.
These are SO COOL! I love Tarot Cards. I do use Tarot because I did it in school and freaked everyone out with how accurate I was…and have now forgotten all the spreads I knew anyhow. Oh, and everyone lost interest in Tarot and moved on to Remote Viewing, which I freaked everyone out at because I make up good stuff sometimes!
But I digress, these are pretty! Sometimes I wish I could draw!
I know everyone is hating on this, because you know…the original starred Anjelica Huston. Still, I don’t hate it. Anne Hathaway looks like she’s having fun chewing up the scenery and Octavia Spencer is cool in everything.
I still really hope that SOMEHOW the Salon will be a thing that I can go to next year! Also bookshops :(
