What’s Up
So, last night at about five to midnight I realized that it was—for a few more minutes anyhow—actually a Tuesday. Which meant I should have done the newsletter and the recycling needed to go out. So I had to do a midnight scuttle in my jammies with the bin, but I was definitely too tired to do the newsletter.
So…bit late! Sorry!
Right, couple of things to cover today! First of all…the cover reveal for the WIP that definitely wasn’t the one I was meant to be working on! I hope you guys like it! Hex Work should be up for pre-order by the end of the week, so I’ll send a Flash State of the TAM then. It is MM urban fantasy novella and there’s no cliffhangers. Promise! :D

Pupdate of the Week
I took Jax over to Donaghadee this morning and we went up the Moat. It’s an awesome view! I can assure you that Jax was a lot less winded than me when we got there.
Ballycastle is roughly an hour and a half from where I live. Well, it is if I left now and travelled in the dark. Takes waaaaaay longer usually!
Free Audio Chapter of the Week
‘Tailor Made’ by TA Moore and narrated by Garrett Kiesel is a Prodigium short story and a prequel to Cash in Hand. Find out more about the hidden world of ghouls, ghosties, and long-leggedly beasties — although Grandmother thinks that’s just rude!
Listen to the third chapter now! If you scroll down you can also download the ebook! :D
This is AMAZING! This might even be amazeballs.
Shout Out of the Week
This is the evidence that I am a good friend and an ADMIRABLE person. I’m sharing Poe’s new book (which does sound awesome), despite the fact she’s going to go to GRL without me and shamelessly enjoy herself like a Snitchy Poe.
I mean, I don’t expect anyone not to have fun! Just to lie to me about how much they miss me :D
Must Read of the Week
This is fascinating. I am, to be far, absolutely fascinated with stories about extreme endurance. The extent to which the human body can adapt to extremes of pressure/environment is just astonishing. Particularly as a relatively sedentary individual who gets winded going up a hill (I have asthma! It’s a valid reason!). Flanagan's Run by Tom McNab is one of my favourite books.
The added luxury element is what elevates this to a bizarre, super-rich, neighborhood of dystopia indulgence. It’s got potential :D
'Luxury' race will be among most expensive on earth
Ultramarathon competitors are used to "roughing it" in races, sometimes sleeping in bivvy bags at the side of muddy trails or even running through several nights.
They set themselves incredible long-distance challenges, often running through remote and difficult terrain.
But now a new ultramarathon race is being launched which gives them luxury few could afford - including butlers, hydrotherapy pools, speed boats and Michelin-star chefs.
How cool is she? How neat does this dress look?
This is actually a great and, again, vaguely SF dystopian read. Shades of Dark Angel.
